Damage repair optionsOn the call
You should know what is being arranged before anyone starts work. Dispatch can discuss the current estimate for your specific request.
Give your address or exact parking location and describe the problem.
Ask about current availability, arrival estimate, visit charge, work, parts and any after-hours charge.
Share access directions and have identification or authorization ready.
Test the entry, lock or door before the visit ends. Approve any changed scope first.
Tell dispatch
One clear description helps dispatch assess the right work and current availability.
Street address, unit or garage level, nearest entrance and a callback number.
Is the key inside, lost or broken? Is the door stuck, damaged or unable to latch?
Tell us if the opening is unsecured, if anyone is inside and who can authorize entry or repair.
01 / Access
Opening a door and changing future access are different jobs. Start with what is locked and where the key is.
For a home or apartment, tell us if a working key is inside, missing or stuck. Have identification or other proof of permission ready. If your documents are inside, mention that on the call.
For a vehicle, give the year, make, model and parking location. A key locked in the cabin calls for a different plan from an all-keys-lost replacement. An office needs an authorized business contact and the affected door.

Say which one. Entry alone will not replace a lost key.
The property owner, resident, driver or authorized business contact should be reachable.
For a garage or large building, name the entrance, level and nearby landmark.
02 / Door and lock damage
A damaged cylinder, broken key and split frame do not take the same repair.
Describe whether the latch catches and whether the door can be secured at all. A new cylinder will not repair damaged material around the strike. The immediate securing work may differ from a later full repair.
If a key broke in the lock, the cause matters as much as extracting it. If a missing key should stop working, ask about rekeying after access is restored. If damage followed a suspected crime, follow the authorities’ instructions before disturbing the opening.

Tell dispatch whether the opening is exposed and what still closes.
Ask for the revised work and price before extra parts or repair steps begin.
Check the door closes, latches and opens as intended before handoff.
