Automotive keys in your driveway
If your car key goes missing while the vehicle is at home, give dispatch the year, make and model and whether a working spare remains. We confirm the correct replacement and support before arranging mobile car key service. Mention any limited clearance or access to the parked vehicle so we can coordinate the appointment.
A physical blade, remote buttons and engine-start authorization can involve separate work. Our key fob service identifies the appropriate part and vehicle-specific procedure. Tell us which functions are failing if you still have the key. An unresponsive button does not automatically mean the entire fob needs replacement, and a no-start symptom does not by itself prove a programming fault.
We explain the functions included in the job and test them at handover. If a key is missing, ask which electronic access can be removed and whether a physical lock change is relevant. That decision depends on the vehicle and your security concern.
If someone is in immediate danger, call 911 first. For an ordinary car lockout, tell us where the vehicle is and whether the keys are visible inside. We choose an entry approach for the vehicle and its condition. Do not force the door frame or glass while waiting.
